America's Center Entrance Dedicated
This week, Explore St. Louis dedicated the new Dr. Donald M. Suggs Entry and Lobby at America’s Center Convention Complex, honoring the visionary publisher of The St. Louis American. The tribute celebrates Dr. Suggs’ lasting impact on journalism, health equity, education, and civic life in St. Louis and beyond.
"This expansion strengthens our ability to layer event activity, welcome more visitors, and grow the economic impact conventions bring to St. Louis," said Matthew Dewey, Senior Vice President and General Manager at America’s Center. Free Concerts Continue in Kiener Plaza
Downtown Summer Nights expanded to Saturday evenings with free outdoor concerts featuring local favorites including Just In Time this weekend, Saturday, Aug. 2.
Upcoming acts include Dr. Zhivegas, Lydia Caesar, a Tina Turner Tribute featuring Laka, and more. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and family fun from 5–8 p.m., in the heart of Downtown St. Louis every Thursday and Saturday. (stlsummernights.com)
