"I’ve personally greeted 99% of our guests," James said of his role at Buddy’s, which he opened in 2024 with support from Greater St. Louis, Inc. and St. Louis Development Corporation’s Downtown Retail Incentive Program. "I still stand behind downtown ... What people don't realize is you see the list of businesses opening and closing and there's a lot more opening these days." (St. Louis Business Journal)
