NEWLY LAUNCHED TAYLOR GEOSPATIAL ENGINE AIMS TO SEND GEOSPATIAL INNOVATION TO MARKET

Further strengthening St. Louis as the nation's center for geospatial technology, the newly launched Taylor Geospatial Engine kicked off its first program this week, with the goal of connecting geospatial research with commercial opportunities. Thanks to a founding investment from GSL Founding Chair Andrew C. Taylor, TGE is a “sister organization” to the Taylor Geospatial Institute, with both organizations working in tandem to advance geospatial technology and the metro’s growing geospatial sector.

“The success of the engine is one of the criteria of the success of the institute and I think to me this is the power of St. Louis. We don’t have the bubbles of academia, industry, and government. We’re generally all here together,” said Nadine Alameh, executive director of TGI.
