BOEING’S $1.8 BILLION PLAN WILL ADD 500 ADVANCED MANUFACTURING JOBS
The Boeing Company, an executive-level member of the GSL Chair’s Council and the largest manufacturer in the state of Missouri, just announced plans for a $1.8 billion advanced manufacturing facility adjacent to St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The project would add 500 new high-paying advanced manufacturing jobs to the regional economy.
“The plan announced today by Boeing demonstrates their continued commitment to St. Louis and to the future of advanced manufacturing in our metro,” said Jason Hall, CEO of Greater St. Louis, Inc.
Performance Foodservice Middendorf last week announced plans to expand operations in the metro with a new facility in NorthPark in North St. Louis County.
